It’s Palm Sunday, the day we mark as Jesus final entrance into Jerusalem. Typically it is filled with waving palms and shouts of “Hosanna!” but in Luke’s gospel there are no palms and there are no hosannas. There is Jesus standing on a hill outside the city weeping, knowing it didn’t have to be this way.
