Since 2016, the Artist-in-Residence program at UBC has provided early career artists with secure studio space and basic necessities for creating works in the visual arts. Two recently renovated studios are available for artists to use during their residency.
We believe that the arts are doorways into the tragedies, comedies, quandaries, and hopes that are fundamental to our lives. We want to collaborate with young artists as they open those doors for themselves and for those who view their work. In exchange for space, we ask artists to assist UBC in nurturing the arts within the larger life of our congregation.
