If you’re signed up to receive our weekly updates, you likely saw that we are shifting our schedule (we hope for the last time…) back to a fuller, in-person Sunday morning beginning this Sunday, February 27! If you aren’t signed up or you think you are, but aren’t receiving the emails, reach out to Brett (and don’t forget to check your spam/trash folders or, if you’re a Gmail user, look in the promotions tab).

Whether you saw the email or not, our new morning schedule is as follows:

8:30am – Choir Rehearsal (All Are Welcome To Join!)
9:15am – Godly Play for Children (Click the links to learn more!)
9:30am – Sunday School for Adults and Youth (Click the links to learn more!)
10:30am –  Morning Worship

Our Deacons have also voted, after looking at the local case numbers of Covid and the significant decline in community spread, to make masking optional inside our buildings. If feel comfortable being in the space without a mask and have been vaccinated, you may do so. If you have not been (or are unable to be) vaccinated, we encourage you to wear your mask indoors. This includes children who have not been vaccinated and are participating in Godly Play. If you still would prefer to wear your mask inside the building, please feel comfortable doing so.

This Sunday will be a special worship service as we are ordaining three new deacons into their positions as leaders of our congregation. Join us as we ordain Pat Alcorn, Elizabeth LaBeaud, and Bethany Rigney. You are invited to write a prayer, blessing, or brief note to Pat, Elizabeth, and Bethany prior to the worship service and bring it with you to share with them during the service in lieu of our traditional practice of the laying on of hands. Don’t worry, if you forget, note cards will be available in the sanctuary.

We will still record worship for those who wish to stay home or who need to stay home because of illness. Please continue to take all the precautions you can to stay safe and healthy. If you don’t feel well, please stay home. It’s not that we don’t love you, we simply want everyone to stay healthy so we can continue to gather and return to being the gathered body of Christ in all the ways we can.

Don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions!
