Dear UBC,
The deacons met last Monday (September 20) to discuss our next steps moving forward. As we talk about our future and our staffing needs, we want to hear from as many of you as possible. I urge you to take a few moments and answer the questions that appeared in our bulletin each Sunday for the past month. The link to answer these questions is available HERE. If you would prefer a paper copy, please ask any deacon and they can provide that for you or you can download a copy HERE and return it to one of the offering boxes on Sunday morning or drop it by the office with Cindy. We would love to have your responses by October 10th, and will be sharing the responses with the whole congregation in the October business meeting. These questions are just a starting point, and we hope that in the coming weeks we can also have small group gatherings for more in-depth discussion. The more information we have about what we have done well in the past and what we hope to do in the future will allow us to present a potential search committee with a more defined charge and help us determine the staffing needs for our church.
Please take a few moments to answer the questions to help us in this process. I also ask that you pray for UBC and our church staff in this transition.
