We move today from Jesus healing on the Sabbath to Jesus healing a Roman Centurion’s slave. It’s a curious story filled with power dynamics and faith not found by Jesus among those whom he might call family, but it makes a deeper point about how what we say (and to whom we say it) matters in the lives of those around us. Join us as we dive deeper into this story from Luke’s gospel.
