Today is Transfiguration Sunday in the Church, the day when we celebrate the bridge that Christ represents between humanity and the divine and the new way of living and being that Christ calls us into. You’ve no doubt heard the phrase “those who have ears to hear” when someone, most often Jesus, is encouraging those around him to listen. What if we had ears to see – to imagine a new way forward? In our reading from Luke’s gospel today, we’ll consider how we might use our ears in such a way.
