We know that Mary sings her song of praise upon realizing that she will carry the Christ child. It is a beautiful song of praise. But, before she sings of what is to come, an angel visits her to share with her the good news. In that visit we see that in the midst of waiting and hoping, God is with us and wants us to join in the work of bringing new life into our midst.
