“THE LAST OF NICK BEAT” an interactive faux-beat poetry performance with Paul VanZandt giving his farewell performance of this legendary Back Door Coffeehouse Character. Fun is guaranteed and it will be the last performance of its kind. Our live music set will mark the appearance of “Pure Chance” an assortment of musicians who have found each other through Tripod and Back Door and have been working together for months. Players: Paul Laughlin, Lori Shuck, Jack Linton, James Polk, and John Alcorn. It’s going to be a great night, so come on down for your JavaWerks Coffee and the best live-interactive theater and our best friends playing their hearts out for us! Doors open at 7:00 pm. In keeping with its pristine surroundings, Dismals Canyon offers a quiet and unspoiled oasis in Alabama’s last secret hiding place, a secluded wilderness filled with natural phenomena tucked deep within the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.
