We will begin a new Wednesday night format September 7 following a fellowship and kick off night August 31. The new format will last 8 weeks, returning to our usual schedule of activities on the first Wednesday in November.
We will continue gathering at 6:00 pm for our potluck dinner and prayer time, then move into our small groups. One group will continue to meet in Kelley Hall and offer a traditional Bible Study — in other words, very similar to our more traditional Wednesday night service. In addition to the group in Kelley Hall, there will be four different categories of small groups offered: book study, practical theology study, alternative Bible study, and building projects (church chores). One may choose from any of these groups. We will introduce the small groups further and have an opportunity for sign-ups beginning August 31. On November 2 participants will be given a chance to evaluate the new format which will inform future plans for small groups in the new year.
