Kate Campbell and Spooner Oldham are live at the Back Door, Friday, June 5. Spooner Oldham is a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame keyboard legend, and Kate Campbell is an internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter. There is a $15 suggested donation at the door (students $5). Show starts at 7:30 pm and doors open at 7:00.

FestivalSouth® is Mississippi’s only multi-week, multi-genre arts festival, offering both free and ticketed events to local residents and cultural tourists. Presented by the Hattiesburg Concert Association (HCA), this year’s festival offers events from across the spectrum of the arts – music, dance, art, and theatre. University Baptist will host Festival Classical Afternoon on June 10, at 3:00 pm, and again on June 12, at 3:00 pm.

Worship Studio: Congregational Worship Planning is taking a summer break. We will reconvene in August.

PrimeTime is Tuesday, June 16. Steve Haller, Curator of Historical Manuscripts and Archives will present “Back to School” – Glimpses of USM History from the Archives. The presentation will be a 60-slide PowerPoint presentation about USM history from 1910 to the present, using photographs from the university archives.

UBC Vacation Bible School days are June 23-25. We will meet each of these days from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm. The children will learn to be caretakers of creation as they learn all about recycling.
