PRIMETIME travels to Salem Opry House in Collins, MS, August 18 at 4:30pm (We will meet at UBC and carpool)The old Salem School burned in 1957, leaving only the auditorium. The auditorium became the Salem Opry House and was used as a music venue and community room for special events. Pat and Kathy Sutton purchased the simple audiorium and transformed it into a showcase in the center of the Salem Community. As beautiful as the building is, the best part about a trip to Salem Opry House is the dining experience. Their specialty is fried catfish, but there is also a variety of seafood plates to choose from. Rounding out the menu are Angus steaks grilled to order, a variety of appetizers, salads, poboys, sandwiches, and homemade desserts. Mark your calendars to join us!
