PrimeTime is November 15. UBC’s Virginia Butler will present:
“From Katz to Keats.” She will speak about the change that Ezra
Keats’ book, The Snowy Day, brought in Keats’ life and the world
of children’s literature. The Snowy Day was the first full color children’s book that featured a black child as the protagonist in a nonstereotypical fashion. This book was a catalyst for multicultural literature.
