WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 14 & 21
COMMITTEE NIGHTS — Each Committee is requested to take a few minutes during its initial meeting of the year to evaluate the church budget, particularly for those categories most pertinent to the committee. Committees are encouraged to offer comments in writing to the Finance Committee chair or Church Administrator before January 28.

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 28
DEADLINE FOR WRITTEN REPORTS — to be submitted to the Finance Committee from all interested parties: including all committees, councils, classes, and staff for suggestions concerning the coming church budget year (April 1, 2015-March 31, 2016).

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 28
INFORMAL DISCUSSION OF BUDGET NEEDS — An informal discussion of the comments presented by all interested parties will be conducted during the January business meeting on this date. No formal action will be made during this discussion period.

FEBRUARY
FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETINGS — Beginning with the regular monthly Finance Committee meeting on Sunday, February 1, the committee will review all suggestions from the congregation and will formulate the 2015-2016 Proposed Budget, meeting as many times as necessary during the month.

SUNDAY, MARCH 8
PROPOSED BUDGET PRESENTED TO THE DEACONS — The Deacons and Finance Committee will have a joint meeting to review the Proposed Budget.

TUESDAY, MARCH 10
PROPOSED BUDGET MAILED TO ALL UBC MEMBERS WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18: PROPOSED BUDGET PRESENTED TO CONGREGATION — At the regular monthly business meeting, the congregation will discuss the Proposed Budget. Motions to amend the proposed budget will be taken from the floor.

SUNDAY, MARCH 22
MEMBER VOTE ON PROPOSED BUDGET — At the beginning of the 11:00 a.m. worship service, the members present will vote to approve the Proposed Budget.
